Worldwide cargo operations

Aircraft Operator Certificate Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia LEPL - Civil Aviation Agency issued the Air Operator Certificate with the right to operate worldwide The certificate confirms that the airline "Geo Sky" LLC is authorized to carry out the commercial operations of the aircraft worldwide.

From the very first year of the airline's establishment, we operated two Boeing 747-200 cargo aircraft, actively participating in the ISAF program for Afghanistan. We ensured the regular supply of food products to coalition forces, including the Georgian Ministry of Defense’s regular army.

EASA TCO - Authorisation European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) TCO Authorisation In the framework of the EU safety authorization process for foreign air operators (PART-TCO), in 2020, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) reissued a unified air safety permit to Geo Sky. Based on this authorization, airline Geo Sky was granted one centralized permit to operate in 28 EASA and 4 European Free Trade Association member states.

CCAR129 Authorization issued by the People's Republic of China AIRLINE GEOSKY LLC meets requirements of CCAR129 Regulation that specifies Operations Certifications and continuing oversight and surveillance of foreign air carriers engaged in public air transportation within the People’s Republic of China  to ensure that foreign air carriers meet the applicable operation requirements prescribed  by China.

We successfully overcame the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which nearly brought the aviation industry to a halt. We managed to continue active operations, ensuring the daily supply of protective equipment and vaccines to Georgia and European countries.

Covid-19 Pandemic – Air cargo transportation of medical equipment, PCR tests, and vaccines using a Boeing 747-200 cargo aircraft to Asian and European countries, including Italy, China, and many others. 

Geosky was the first to transport PCR tests to Georgia during the pandemic using a Boeing 747-200 aircraft.

CCAR287- Authorization issued by the People's Republic of China.  AIRLINE Geo Sky LLC meets requirements of CCAR287 Regulation made in accordance with Civil Aviation Law of the People’s Republic of China and with the view of standardizing the regulation of operation on the specified route by foreign air transport enterprise between point in foreign country and point in the People’s Republic of China

Geosky's fleet has been expanded with a Boeing 757-200F cargo aircraft.

Competency based training program for dangerous goods implemented by Geo Sky LLC 

Cargo Air Flights to Turkmenistan – Geosky is the first cargo airline to operate regular cargo flights to Turkmenistan from Europe and Asia.

ACC3 - Authorisation State Agency “Civil Aviation Agency” of the Republic of Latvia

In June 2024, Geosky (passenger division Georgian Wings) successfully obtained the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certification. On November 21, 2024, the airline was awarded the IATA membership certificate at the 2024 Wings of Change (WOC) Europe event organized by IATA in Rome, Italy. In 2024, we operated our first commercial passenger flight on the Tbilisi-Batumi-Tbilisi route and launched scheduled regular flights from Tbilisi Airport to destinations in Europe and the Middle East. Additionally, we completed 16 flights for Georgian national team supporters traveling to UEFA Euro 2024 matches.
